Dolce and Gabbana first emerged in 1985 when they first exhibited together in Milan in a new talent showing. The following year they launched their first real ready to wear collection which was received with critical claim and launched the label into the stratosphere.
Of course since the brand has extended into knitwear, beach wear, lingerie and accessories including their fabulous sunglasses which you will see worn by all the celebrities.
Interestingly Dolce Gabbana opened their first boutique in Tokyo, and followed with Milan and Hong Kong, recognizing early on that they had a rabid following in Japan and the far east.
