Phone’s broke
We discovered that our home phone was stuffed two days ago. We can call out, but inbound calls go no where…and I mean that literally. You can try dialing but the calls just don’t connect to anything. I thought things had been unusually quiet and then the mobile started ringing alot more.
I was surprised to meet someone else (from a different part of the city) today with exactly the same problem, and Telecom advises that it is a network issue affecting lots of people in our area so it seems quite wide spread. I’ve never heard of this happening before, and it is a bit weird because everything else including outbound calls and our DSL is working just fine. Only inbound calls are broke.
So if you call our home number now you will be redirected to Jen’s mobile until it gets fixed (Thursday apparently). I wonder it is in any way fallout on the network from all the hellish weather of late. Speaking of which, a bit more snow has fallen, but our season passes still are not looking like the best investment this year…we need more precipitation man.
