LIVE-IN STARTUPS COMBINE FRAT-HOUSE CULTURE WITH VENTURE CAPITAL

There's lots to be admired about Silicon Valley...the innovation, the productivity, the palpable sense of progress, and I for one would love to have had the opportunity to spend time there (still would).

However I see nothing appealing about the kind of startup MO described in this SFGate article. They profile Meetro.com, Hubpages.com, and Box.net, all cool services in their own right, but man I honestly can't think of anything worse than spending 24/7 living and breathing the biz, eating pizza and sleeping on top of the servers. That's just not healthy.

I guess I am getting old.
