Mervin Manufacturing has been making Gnu Snowboards for years, and they totally kick ass...they are always pushing the state of the art, most recently with their banana rocker and magna-traction style sidecut and edges. Apparently it really works well (I want one)
If you are after a Gnu Snowboard then be sure to check back regularly because we have a whole lot of distributors and retailers listing brand new Gnu Snowboards from last season as well as the latest models on a daily basis...

About Gnu Snowboards
I remember the cover of the first snowboarding magazine I ever saw (1989 sometime) had Amy Howat on the cover and she was riding a Gnu Snowboard at Mt Baker...that image has stayed with me for years and was one of my original inspirations to start snowboarding.
And it is fair to say that Gnu Snowboards have been there from the very beginning...never part of the mainstream snowboarding industry as such, but always on the cutting edge and pushing the progression of snowboarding at every opportunity.
Story goes that Mike Olssen built his first snowboard in high school woodshop way back in 1977 and later dropped out of college in 1984 to found Gnu Snowboards. Actually Gnu are made by Mervin Manufacturing who also manufacture Lib Tech boards and skates and Bent Metal bindings...all cool stuff.
