About Forum Snowboards
Forum snowboards was founded by one of the most progressive pro riders ever, Peter Line, way back in the summer of 1996. He pulled together a kick ass pro team including what might be the most progressive group of riders ever.
They were not necessarily the biggest names but they were definitely pushing the boundaries. The original Forum Snowboards team included guys like JO Walker, Jeremy Jones, Joni Malmi, Bjorn Leines, Devun Walsh, Chris Dufficy, Wille Yli-Luoma and of course Peter Line himself. The team collaborated first appeared in the ground breaking Mack Dawg film, Resistence.
I saw Devun Walsh riding once in Whistler and he was fricking unbelievable. Best rider I have ever seen in person (kinda dates me through eh!).
In July, 2004, Forum was purchased by the Burton juggernaut and Peter Line and Joni Malmi are the only members of the orginal pro team still with the brand.
