Fischer is an Austrian ski company founded way back in 1943 (seriously these Europeans have been making skis a very long time). Since then they have developed a special reputation for being experts in composite manufacturing techniques, which is interesting to us, because it means Fischer Skis are awesome, and at the very cutting edge of ski design and technology.

Fischer is not the largest ski company in the world, but they are highly regarded and used by professional skiers the world over. My first ever skis were an old second hand set of Fischers when I was about 6 years old, and I am still inclined to ski on Fischer today.
