Wow, this would actually be quite weird…image walking around and not being acosted by billboards, adshells, posters etc. I find it hard to imagine. Perhaps they’ll use the abandonned billboard hoardings for civic art projects.

Not Given Lightly
I was looking for a new domain name (for a secret project!?!) and settled on notgivenlightly.com, which fits the theme of the site and is a nice allusion to that classic Chris Knox tune of the same name. The point of this post though is to exclaim that who knew Frente had covered it!? When I Googled “not given lightly” they came up more often than any Chris Knox references.
For my Nth American readers…if you like a your singer song writers to be lo-fi, edgy, with a unique vocal style, and with solid credentials in 70′s punk rock then you could do worse than check out Chris Knox…you can find him on Amazon and Last.fm.
