According to the nifty kinda facial recognition thingamy at myheritage.com, the celeb I most resemble is Thom Yorke from Radiohead…or atleast I resemble him 73%. Oddly enough I am apparently also 62% like Joi Ito, and at the same time 54% like Roman Abramovich and that dude from Lost.

It’s taken way too long, but I’ve finally collected all the outstandings from my Movember fundraising, a grand total of $93.50.
Not a huge amount, but totally worthwhile, and I’m sure the New Zealand Prostate Cancer Foundation are absolutely stoked with the cumulative million or so raised throughout the country.

We’ve been running this competition for Hospice New Zealand over the last 10 days and overall it’s been great…their traffic is through the roof and thousands of people have learnt something new about the services they offer.
All good, except it could have been much much better. The comp has a heavy referral element to drive friends of friends to the site via email, and with all the trouble Xtra has been having with spam volumes lots of genuine email is not getting to where it needs to be. Xtra is the main ISP here in New Zealand and as a result lots of people will not have received those emails passing on the good word. Damn those spammers.
