I’m out of the RSS business
Thought I’d better write a post to clarify that I am now out of the RSS business completely having transfered all ownership and operations of the RSS services I’ve developed to other parties. I am no longer involved with Feedroll.com, FeedrollPro.com, Publi.sh, or FeedHoster.com. These are all now owned and run by other people.
I get a lot less email now :)
This has nothing to do with my interest in RSS which is still white hot, it’s just a reflection of my limited capacity. I’ve got a great day job and I want to focus any extra bandwidth on other projects. I’ve still got one server running so when the inspiration hits…

Hey Ted,
Yeah, things are pretty good. I needed to free up my time in preparation for the Dogster API :)

Hey Charles - hope you made a few bucks on the sites, too.
People tend to think that if your site isn’t the next MySpace or Google, that it wasn’t a success.
I’ve sold sites for $12k cash, 1% of companies, $35k in stock, etc. etc. They were all successes in my book =)

Hey Shanti,
Fair to say that I havn’t retired to the beach just yet, but I’m happy with the way things worked out :)
A bit of cash is nice, but more importantly I’ve learnt a bunch in the last few years…there’s nothing like actually doing something and learning from your mistakes eh.
Cheers
C.
