Can you hear me now?

Dude! Jajah web activated telephony looks killer. They offer similar rates as Skype, but they’ve made it easy enough that absolutely anyone can use it.

No client to download and install, just set up an account on the site and use the web site to activate your call (you can try it free)…the system will call your landline number (where ever you are) and then connect you to the other number anywhere in the world.

Brilliant in theory and I hope they can iron out the wrinkles reported in the forums…looks like they’ve had some trouble with connections. Perhaps something to do with peak loads because it worked OK for me this afternoon NZ time.

Now we just need an API.

PS – If I were eBay, I might be giving myself a swift kick in the pants right now. If they can prove it scales I reckon this would have been a better solution for their community than Skype.
