UPDATE: Tagalyzer has gone, but only cause we're busy cookin' up something more interesting (I hope)...a little PHP, a liberal sprinkling of API, a dash of AJAX, some secret sauce...mmmm, tasty.
And just for fun, Tagalyzer...what's your blog about? What else would you like to see here?

The other day I mentioned my brothers friend who got mugged in New York and wrote about it on his blog. Pretty crazy story that even got some press in the media stateside.
But imagine my amazement at coming across the same blog posting on page six of New Zealand's biggest daily, The New Zealand Herald, over the weekend. I don't know how often this happens, but I've never seen a blog being syndicating by mainstream media...I guess this is what is meant by citizen journalism(?).

Until this morning I thought Mark Cuban was a just a very sucessful techpreneur guy with a great blog...but now I read that he plays rugby and my estimation of him has escalated enormously. He now ranks up there with Richard Branson as a successful business leader who I'd like to have a beer with.
Oh, and by the way that's a nice segue to mention that Wales just had their asses handed to them on a plate by the All Blacks (41-3), w00t!

Cory Doctorow's book, Someone Comes to Town, Someone Leaves Town, over RSS has proven popular with upwards of 400 600 people subscribed, so I thought I'd do the same for Eastern Standard Tribe. EST was the first book of Cory's I ever read and it is a goodie...here you can subscribe to exactly one chapter per day over then next month:

My brother emailed me this morning pointing to his mates blog and a crazy story about being mugged in New York, all told in remarkably good humour considering he just had a convicted murderer point a gun at him.
