more Favorite Albums From Way Back

Inspired by an Engadget podcast a few weeks back I finally got around to trying out AllofMP3.com…holy smoke, it is hard to imagine how this is legal. I would be surprised if there wasn’t a bunch of legal wrangling going on in the background to try and shut these guys down. I mean, I just downloaded a whole CD of songs and it cost me less than a dollar!
In this instance I don’t feel badly because it was to replace a CD which I had previously bought at full retail price…When we first moved to Sydney from Auckland in 1999 all our CDs (100’s) got stolen in transit, which was a complete downer because I lost a lot of great stuff that I am never likely to replace. One of those was the 1991 Dinosour Jnr classic, Green Mind. I am unlikely to go out and buy the CD again, but at less than $1 it was a no brainer to replace this by getting it from Allofmp3.com.
Green Mind is a great album, and listening to it again for the first time in years and it still feels really good (I might be showing my age). Fav tracks include the title track, Green Mind, and Puke and Cry. Makes me want to revisit Where you been aswell…where’s that flannel shirt?
