So this is probably old news for many of you, but we’ve just got the first episode of the new Richard Branson “Apprentice” type show, The Rebel Billionaire: Branson’s Quest For the Best, and so far it kills the Donald.
You’ve gotta love the guy when he starts off by taking the piss out of Donald’s ostentaciousness (sp?), and then has the contestants competing by walking the plank at 10,000ft between two hot air balloons, cool.
UPDATE: Oh yeah, and then he has them doing crazy inverted wing walking stunts…but the best thing is he’s totally up for it himself. Can you imagine Donald climbing onto the top wing of an aerial stunt plane and doing loops? Actually “extreme Donald” would make a great photoshop contest…hair peice blowing in the wind!

I love this photo of Flynn sitting in his ‘Bumbo’ foam chair in the kitchen, with his arming hanging over the side like a trucker.

Jeremy C. Wright is pondering the possibilities of living abroad, and is looking for suggestions….
Fly south young man…all the amenties of a decent sized town in one of the most beautiful places in the entire world…not to mention that Queenstown is home to some killer vineyards (gorgeous Pinot Noir anyone!), and must be counted as one of the world’s best spots for outdoor pursuits. What more could you want?

Check it out…just launched a new free service, FeedForm, which is a solution to the problem of linking to user unfriendly RSS files.
Basically FeedForm renders your RSS feed in a browser friendly format and adds some functionality to enable one click subscribing. FeedForm doesn’t do any kind of feed processing at all and readers will still subscribe directly to your RSS feed.
If you are already using Feedburner then FeedForm will not be necessary, but otherwise it provides a user friendly way of presenting your news feed to RSS newbies.

Inspired by an Engadget podcast a few weeks back I finally got around to trying out AllofMP3.com…holy smoke, it is hard to imagine how this is legal. I would be surprised if there wasn’t a bunch of legal wrangling going on in the background to try and shut these guys down. I mean, I just downloaded a whole CD of songs and it cost me less than a dollar!
In this instance I don’t feel badly because it was to replace a CD which I had previously bought at full retail price…When we first moved to Sydney from Auckland in 1999 all our CDs (100′s) got stolen in transit, which was a complete downer because I lost a lot of great stuff that I am never likely to replace. One of those was the 1991 Dinosour Jnr classic, Green Mind. I am unlikely to go out and buy the CD again, but at less than $1 it was a no brainer to replace this by getting it from Allofmp3.com.
Green Mind is a great album, and listening to it again for the first time in years and it still feels really good (I might be showing my age). Fav tracks include the title track, Green Mind, and Puke and Cry. Makes me want to revisit Where you been aswell…where’s that flannel shirt?

BTW, I have turned off all commenting until I have time to find and implement some comment spam killer plugin for WordPress.
The built in ability in WordPress to moderate and mass edit (read delete) comments is great, but I was getting tired of having to ‘moderate’ comments everyday from some lame ass “texas-hold-em” poker site, dirt bags.

I am doing my link logging over at linkroll these days…it’s not as cool as del.icio.us but it has a couple of of other features I like…and there’s a couple more features on the way when we get some time.

Wish I could go to BloggerCon III, looks like a great group of people will be there. I’ll just have to tune into via IT Conversations…I note Doug Kaye on the list of registrants so can only assume he’ll be posting mp3s of some sessions.
