PVR

You can’t get TIVO in Autralia at this time, but we did just buy a Topfield PVR (yeah, I had never heard of them either). It is sitting at home in the box and I am at work…can’t wait to get into it tonight, very excited.
One interesting feature is a USB interface for PCs…not sure if that means not Mac, or that the PVR drive can be reached just like an external drive. I hope so, because that would provide all sorts of interesting possibilities for recording and mashing up TV broadcasts using iMovie. All sorts of possibility to go foul of copyright law no doubt too.
I guess I’ll have to start frequenting PVRBlog now.
