Waxy In Print

So I am on a flight to Singapore flicking through a copy of Australian MacWorld magazine and I come across a mention of Andy Baio’s InfocomBot (also mentioned at MacWorld.com)… cool I thought, Waxy’s world famous!
But then I got thinking, why should this strike me as being more significant, somehow more important, than the praise and acknowledgement that has been rightly given Waxy online already…afterall, MacWorld are kinda late to the party, the InfocomBot was introduced way back in March.
I think this inclination to weight print media more is just an artifact of an old mental model…but I would consider myself a reasonably web savvy person, so if I’m still prone to think like that then I wonder how the general populace thinks.
Anyway, I have never really played games much (not since Galaga and Defender were the new thing), but I think I will have to give the InfocomBot a try…afterall, it was in a magazine!
